Assessment of efficiency of scientific and innovative activity of regions

The monograph is based on the results of research work in the framework of the RFBR grant, project No. 17-02-00465 " Methodology of integrated assessment of the effectiveness of scientific and innovative activities of regions» The monograph reflects the problems and reveals the factors of innovative development of the economy at the macro and meso levels, the key of which is the efficiency of scientific and innovative activities and the quality of human capital. The methodological basis for the assessment of innovation and human capital of the region has been developed. A Toolkit for assessing the effectiveness and dynamics of the development of scientific and innovative activities in the regions, based on the use of DEA-technologies and the index method, is proposed. Recommendations on the use of the developed tools to increase the innovation activity of the territory are given. The materials presented in the monograph can be used by relevant ministries and Vedomosti to develop appropriate strategies and tools for monitoring the innovative development of regions; graduate students; undergraduate and graduate students studying in the areas of "Economics" and "Management".
